With their children off to college, these empty nesters bought their forever home closer to the city. The Modern Farmhouse theme was designed to create a big inviting open concept that effortlessly produces lots of natural light. Removing the wall between the family room and kitchen revealed taller ceilings and windows providing great illumination giving these two rooms a bright and spacious feel.
The kitchen was designed with cost savings in mind by leaving appliances where they were yet making the room harmonize with their lifestyle. A stainless steel sink, all new stainless steel appliances and smooth cooktop add to the modern look of the kitchen. The microwave drawer offers a no-clutter feel that allows for more counter space.
