As a young married couple with a growing family, this remodel transformed a dysfunctionally cramped 70’s kitchen space into a solution that fit the lifestyle needs of the busy modern family. The kitchen was updated with more storage space and efficiently designed for an active family.
Since lots of time is spent cooking while watching over their little one or entertaining, an unobstructed open concept from the kitchen to the family room was added. A low ceiling was raised another foot gaining extra vertical space helping add to the open concept that is so popular in today’s kitchen design.
